Keep your Bishop Rotary tattoo machine well-lubricated to prolong its life. Super-Lube synthetic grease helps the Capo run smoothly by protecting the Swiss-made Maxon motor from friction and wear. Depending on how much you tattoo, this simple maintenance is necessary every 4-6 weeks or 40-50 hours of tattooing, whichever comes first. Super-Lube is a patented heavy-duty NLGI 2 Grade synthetic lubricant that contains PTFE and it will not run, evaporate, melt, or separate, making the application and clean-up of the lube fairly simple.

Cutting the packet at an angle will make the lube application easy and more precise. To properly lubricate your machine, use tear drop sizes of lube and make sure that your tattoo machine is on. This will allow the grease to work itself in to all the moving parts and lubricate every area. Keep the machine running for 30 seconds until the lube has been pulled in and clean up the excess (your machine should still be running). If your machine is still making some noise, more lube needs to be applied to your machine.

Each Bishop Rotary tattoo machine comes with Super-Lube; this listing is for a replacement pack to keep up with the maintenance. One pack contains three 1ml Super-Lube packets.
